Pavoneo

Seconds Eco Store is a proud supporter of free public art events. Every year, during the annual outdoor PASEO Project by the Town of Taos, Sara Basehart and art partner Sarah Parker of Sara.h ² create an immersive art experience that is unaffiliated with the popular PASEO event, but takes advantage of its crowds. Sara.h ² is dedicated to creating art installations that encourage interaction between strangers. PAVONEO, meaning “strut” or “swagger” also includes all the available creations from this year’s Glam Trash Fashion Show on display throughout the Shop gardens.

Glam Trash Fashion Show

Seconds Eco Store now organizes the annual local recycled wearable art runway, the Glam Trash Fashion Show. Started in 2001, it is an all ages recycled fashion and costume design runway contest that happens as a free public art event at the end of each summer. A great way to celebrate recycling, design, fashion and fabulousness in front of a live audience. Scheduled for August 22, 2020 on the historic Taos Plaza. For more info glamtrashtaos@gmail.com
